The Minister of Youth and Sports of South West State, Mowlid Xuseen, accompanied by the Ministers of Women, of Environment and Climate Change, of Planning, and of Relief, held a productive meeting with the Director and the Deputy Director of IOM Somalia.

The meeting focused on strengthening relations between IOM and the South West administration, prioritising youth and women's programs, and responding to the growing challenges of climate change.

They also reviewed progress in the biometric registration of internally displaced persons (IDPs) under the CCCM Cluster. Both sides stressed the importance of strengthening District Coordination (ABC) mechanisms to improve preparedness and response to emergencies at regional and district level.
