The Minister of Youth and Sports of the South West State, Mowliid Xasan, accompanied by MP Aamino Maxamed Mursal (Eeley), Chair of the Youth and Sports Committee of the House of the People of the Federal Parliament, and officials of the South West Football Association, carried out an inspection visit to Dr. Ayuub Stadium in Baidoa.

The officials examined the condition of the stadium, its needs and the plans to develop sports infrastructure. They also met the stadium's management and officials to learn about the existing challenges and development opportunities.

During their visit, the officials also inspected the office of the South West Football Association and the Darbane Muudey volleyball ground in Baidoa. There they assessed the condition of the venues and the development needs, stressing the importance of developing sports infrastructure to improve quality and opportunities for the youth of the region.
